Saturday brunch after birthday drinks the previous night.
I loved the brunch vibe there, the menu of sandwiches, toasts, scrambled eggs, pastry was just what i needed this morning.
Waiter service was a bit strange - I joined a friend sitting outside, and walked in to order, they gave me a menu, and after i chosen my meal they sent me back to the table, followed me and took the order from there. I did not understand that.
I had a ham and cheese toastie, apple strudel and earl grey. Liked it, but nothing particularly special, it is quite difficult to screw up these. What i did like was that they heated the strudel before serving, but didn't have cream to serve it with (shame!) instead they gave me ice cream with it, which wasn't particularly nice or appropriate for a very chilly March morning!
What was really nice is that they switched outdoor heaters on, what made me not want to get up at all :)
I would go back there rather than nearby Starbucks, simply because the place have a character and I liked that about it. -

Yeah ... probably the worst cafe and service i have had in London. The trick is that they advertise like they are italian but believe me there is nothing italian about their coffee.
I think that instead they used instant coffee and boy the froth .... no words to describe it. On top of everything we were server by the crankiest person ever.
Not a nice place and shoudl be avoided. -

This place is the polar opposite of how I would describe myself.
They are very nice people that serve mediocre food whereas I'm a dick that serves a mean eggs benedict.
Go elsewhere. You'll thank me.

Can't comment on the food as we were not welcomed because we had four children with us! Looking at the previous reviews you would think they are happy with any custom!

Not the best food, but a few decent round tables inside (few more outside for summer) table service too was good, which makes a change in a small coffee shop, I was having a business meet / catch up so only had 30mins and got quick service with a smile and prompt food delivery. great spot to pop in, eat and get out. Typical sandwich range with three bread options panini, Ciabatta and baguette. 40p to have it toasted thought! also a range of lighter bites like pasta and salads too.
Would call in again as its better than Starbucks but not worth diverting your journey for.
